Trina is a dedicates kohanga reo kaiako and community leader with a strong commitment to te ao Māori and the well-being of others. With extensive experience as a carer and Kōhanga Reo educator, she has played a vital role in preserving and promoting te reo Māori by nurturing young minds in culturally immersive environments. As a kaumātua and the Pou Tuara for Te Puna Ariki Charitable Trust, Trina supports the trust in a number of ways including administration, strategic advice, and programme co-ordination.
